Meet Sol, one of our beautiful AKC Silver Shiba Inu puppies. Sol was given his name because he was born on Solana Beach in California, making the name especially meaningful to his story and the beginning of his life.
We have 2 silver males still available, and they are ready to go home now. Our puppies are $900 with limited AKC registration or $1,100 with full AKC registration.
You are welcome to come meet Sol, the other puppies, and their parents in person. We are located in Solana Beach, California.
Each puppy will go home:

Overview:
The Shiba Inu, the smallest of Japan's six native spitz breeds, originated in the mountainous regions of Japan, where they were bred to flush small game and birds. Physically, they are compact, small-to-medium dogs known for their agile, well-muscled frame, thick double coat (most often red, sesame, black and tan, or cream), erect triangular ears, and signature curled tail. Temperamentally, Shibas are celebrated for their bold, confident, and famously independent personality, paired with a fastidious, almost cat-like cleanliness. They are highly intelligent but strong-willed, so early socialization and patient, consistent training matter far more than repetition drills. Their moderate size makes them adaptable to apartments provided they get daily walks, though a securely fenced yard is ideal since their prey drive and independence make off-leash recall unreliable. Regarding health, Shibas can be prone to conditions like patellar luxation, hip dysplasia, and allergies, so responsible breeding practices are crucial.
